Personal Care Attendants
Needed in Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Centre and Clearfield Counties. Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual positions with flexible work hours. Number of hours available each week may vary & will be discussed at interview.
  • Will provide personal care & assistance to physically disabled individuals living in the community.
    •
  • Starting wage is $8.50 per hour. Weekend/Holiday wage is $11.00 per hour.
  • Incentives for working every other weekend.
  • Excellent benefit package available.
  • Must be 18 yrs of age and have proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • On the job training required to provide health maintenance.
  • The ability to manhandle 75 pounds (proper lifting and transfer technique will be taught)
  • Must have dependable transportation, valid PA driver's license + criminal & child abuse checks will be required.
  • Complete a 5-day orientation/training in Johnstown. Overnight arrangements can be made for those travelling over 50 miles one-way to the training.

    UCP ATTENDANTS SCREENING
    • Interview: Experience providing in-home personal care
    • Three Professional References
    • State Police & Child Abuse Clearance Required
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 18 Years of age
    • Valid PA License
     

    Residential Program Workers
    Needed in Johnstown. Part-Time work with varied number of hours available each week to be discussed at interview. May lead to Full-Time. Will provide daily living assistance to physically disabled indviduals living in a residential setting.
  • Starting wage is $8.50 per hour.
  • Excellent benefit package available.
  • Must be 18 yrs. of age.
  • Nurses Aide Course or equivalent training/experience preferred.
  • The ability to manhandle 75 pounds (proper lifting and transfer technique will be taught)
  • On the job training required to provide health maintenance.
  • Must have dependable transportation, valid driver's license + criminal & child abuse and motor vehicle record checks will be required.
  • Must complete a 5-Day orientation/training in Johnstown.
